Microsoft gets FISMA-certified

The added accreditation brings greater transparency security to the cloud, says the Microsoft blog.

Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure is now one of a growing number of companies to be FISMA-certified, according to the Microsoft blog.

Microsoft says adding certification under FISMA — Federal Information Security Management Act — to its existing list of accreditation provides even greater transparency security.

As part of a FISMA requirement, Microsoft has also applied continuous monitoring to its overall information security program.
