iPads are in the hands of about 170 employees at the Federal Aviation Administration. The agency’s Air Traffic Organization is running one of the largest mobile computing pilots in government, to see if tablets are powerful enough to let employees get the job done. Steve Cooper is ATO’s chief information officer. He tells Jason Miller about the pilot and some of their findings so far.
A deep cut in the E-Government fund is one of the details coming out today in the budget compromise between the Obama Administration and Congress.
