DoD, VA choose e-health GUI

The Defense Department and Veteran\'s Affairs have chosen its \"mainline\" interface for their joint e-health record.

The Defense Department and Veteran’s Affairs have chosen its “mainline” interface for their joint e-health record. The graphical user interface, or GUI, will be used by clinicians to access records, and medical imagery from both Defense and VA. NextGov reports the GUI was developed at the Tripler Army Medical Center and VA Medical Center in Honolulu. It will reportedly first be installed at the North Chicago joint Navy-VA medical center later this year.
