Disney increases prices at its parks

Starting Sunday, Disney will raise ticket prices at both the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando and Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.

UNDATED – They say money can’t buy happiness, but you’ll need some to get into the “happiest place on earth.”

Starting Sunday, Disney will raise ticket prices at both the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando and Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., the Los Angeles Times reports.

In Orlando, one-day passes will go up $3 to $85 for ages 10 and older.

In Anaheim, one-day passes increased from $76 to $80, and three-day passes jumped from $206 to $224.

Theme park experts tell The L.A. Times that the higher prices are unlikely to discourage hardcore Disney fans from visiting the parks.

The increase is the second this year. Click here for a list of the price increases.
