Concurrent Technologies Corporation wins a provisional authority-to-operate through the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, or FedRAMP. The company won the qualifaction through a third-party assessment organization, or 3PAO, called Knowledge Consulting Group. Concurrent won the authority-to-operate for its Unclassified Remote Hosted Desktop software-as-a-service offerings. This makes Concurrent the first company to have software-as-a-service finish the FedRAMP qualification process through its Joint Authorization Board. Knowledge Consulting Group wasn’t the only group to help Concurrent earn FedRAMP approval. Executive Biz reports the Autonomic Resources also helped Concurrent earn approval for an infrastructure-as-a-service offering.
