Did furloughs actually happen to all the people it was supposed to? Who has been checking? I have heard of some isolated cases where timesheets were approved without furlough time charged. Has anyone done any follow up? In my office it was automatic except for the first week and it autofills for most people. I adjusted mine manually, but others just assume it would all be handled by payroll. I know of at least a couple people that took the time off but their timesheet didn't document the furlough time or reduce their pay. They are trying to get this corrected, but I am wondering if anyone else has noticed the same in their offices, perhaps especially the ones with less regular furlough days the DoD.
