  • Without 60 votes...
    FERS Fed
...no one 'controls' the Senate. GOP filibusters anything and everything with which they disagree, which would be any legislation that might benefit middle class Americans at the expense of the wealthy. ..... Who controls the House, where spending bills, including sequestration, originate? ..... Those are the facts.

  • And yet Pew Research reported today....
    FERS Fed
..."During the first two years [2009-2011] of the nation’s economic recovery, the mean net worth of households in the upper 7% of the wealth distribution rose by an estimated 28%, while the mean net worth of households in the lower 93% dropped by 4%, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of newly released Census Bureau data." ..... http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2013/04/23/a-rise-in-wealth-for-the-wealthydeclines-for-the-lower-93/

FAA's budget increased, even with the 2.5 percent sequestration, I look forward to the GAO audit report. Revenue rose to $2.7 trillion -- largest in history. Unfortunately, spending rose to 25 percent of GDP, well over the historic 18-19 percent.

  • Trillions borrowed and spent for what?
    contrarian
IF you cut every FedEmp 100% it wouldn't fix the problem. DOn't worry though the Stock Market keeps going up. Who are the bagholders in the next bubble? Oh yeah, everything is still Bush's fault?
