  • Any ideas coming back to the Feds must have good and qualified employees

I work for the Feds and I have a lot of good ideas. However, I am given a staff that is incapable of making things happen. To have a world-class IT, you need good people. It is like have a winning team, you need good players. In the federal government system, you can't fire people, you can't hurt people feeling, etc.. because too many protections. One visit from your EEO office because a poor performer makes up some false allegations, you then end up spending all your time trying to fight the fire.....no more time to do any value work. So, finding world class ideas is easy...implementing them are hard. Good ideas are everywhere so it is not new....the federal government is OLD and never will change.,
