Can we use these powers to force them to quit? In other news, the blame game continues. For once, can this President take responsibility for his actions? Trust me, Congress and the Senate are not innocent. The DoD will take the lions share of the cuts, but they already have taken cuts to the tune of 489 Billion over the last 4 or 5 years. If our elected officials want cuts all they have to do is stop representing the special interests/lobby and do what is asked for from their constituents. But, this would mean an end to the Political Classes lavish way of life.

Everyone knows the problem - Our lawmakers cannot give up this cash flow, so it all ripples down hill and cannot be changed. $175K per year is just not enough to live on. Those poor and starving ladies and gentlemen of Capitol Hill. Maybe there was some wisdom in the sequestration approach. They knew they could not trust themselves to make the hard decisions.
