    A few years ago, while I was still working for Uncle Sam, TSA would not accept my HSPD-12 ID card as identification. They wanted to see my driver's license.

    They just did that to me about a month ago. Du mb du mb du mb. (As it turns out, "du mb" isn't an allowed word here. Which is really du mb, too...) And I still get the "visitor" metal detector routine going to other Federal agencies. Far as I can tell, HSPD cards are a total waste of time and money. Nothing's changed except I had to prove I was "suitable for Federal employment" to get the card after 25 years....
