    Would that the government could act like small business - as this is the implication here. With any innovation however comes the monumental problem of technology transfer into agencies who, like SSA, still have mainframes which are required to maintain continuity (where the web portals "lie" about the data available). How can an innovation propagate into an environment that has business processes that are defined by executives who aren't even aware of the technology they have? All this said, this "event" is much ado about nothing and intended only for show (as most things in the beltway) - spoken by someone in "fly over country". Thanks, RW
