Bravo to this lady and to you M. Causey for the very positive words on the end of a career and the beginning to a new chapter of a (positive) personal life.

  • Love my retirement!
    ExHUD
I also wondered about how I would adjust to retirement after 40 years. But, made the decision and have never looked back. It's wonderful. Life is getting shorter all the time, you better get out and enjoy it. Got to get going..I'm hiking today!

  • Life is short, get out there!

I also wondered how I would adjust to retirement after so many years of working and enjoying my work for the most part. But, I just saw too many people getting ill or dying and that made up my mind to get out and enjoy life while I still could! I left at age 61 and loving every minute of it!

  • Retirement
    Bud
Had a 36 year career(1967-2003).Everyday wasn't a bed of roses but overall it was rewarding, challenging, and most of all, enjoyable.Retirement is fantastic. Many retirees choose to work for contractors, consultants, etc.Good for them.I chose to travel, golf, spend more time with children/grandchildren.We're so busy now;the wife and I wonder how we found 40 hours a week to work.
