I like to feel at least one of them was not bought and paid for. You know in it for the good of the country and well to go back to that donkey bar in Mexico with diplomatic immunity since that donkey is still angry from the spring break thing in 1987.

  • He was writing about congress not the presidential elections.
    Moderate
So tell us about the fund raising in 2010. and who was contributing to the Repubs in 2008 after the Bush debacle. However, I must give credit to McCain for making the race very competitive in spite of George Bush and in spite of having Palin pushed into his election campaign. If the radical right stayed out of it, he might have won the election.

The parking lots at the Social Security Administration's main complex in Woodlawn on Fridays look like those at Orioles Park @ Camden Yards in September.

  • Just because someone is at their desk doesn't mean they are working

Like the movie "Office Space" there are plenty of feds out their that "veg out" their first hour or so. There are many feds that use their leave, both annual and sick, as soon as they earn it, so they HAVE to show up at the office on Fridays. I see many hard-working, dedicated feds every day. However, there are exceptions. I know a clerk that is so lazy he has a CPAP machine at his desk. He thinks filing is a city in China. By the time he gets to the postage meter to send a letter, the rates have gone up. The other day he had the janitor empty the recycle bin on his computer.

Sounds like you're so busy watching the clerk that you're not getting your own work done!
