the TSA doesn't do a single thing better than the $7.50 an hour screeners before them. NOT ONE SINGLE THING. Well, excpet for feeling up babies and old ladies that is. And the pure fact is that they WILL NOT stop another hijack from occurring. These terrorists are not yesterdays thugs. They're educated far beyond all TSA employees and their idiotic managers who make up these theatrical rules of security. Let's just can this organization, hold the airlines accoundable for the security of their own aircraft and let's save the taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars annually. What do you say? Isn't it about time?

TSA is merely security theater and a jobs program for unemployable misfits. After sixty billion dollars over eight years they can't cite one success. In two separate GAO tests in 2011, TSA failed to detect weapons 70% of the time and 60% of the freight in the cargo-hold remains unscreened. They confiscate items their website says are allowed while four of their screeners were caught smuggling drugs through security, which could have as easily been explosives. There have been 12 TSA screeners arrested this year, four this week and 72 TSA screeners arrested in 2011 for crimes, including eleven sex crimes involving children. TSA can’t prevent crime within their ranks, but want us to trust them with airport security. This agency is a national disgrace and complete failure. The lack of responsible management enables repeated abuse, crime and failure to continue to occur. TSA is too broken to be reformed and must be replaced with something that actually works.

  • TSA are dirtbags
    The Original Joe S
One TSA woman stole my micro-mag flashlight because I told her NOT to disassemble the controller for my hearing aids. In Seattle, those morons had no sign up saying "Leave the luggage unlocked." They destroyed my daughter's luggage instead of merely cutting the lock, and they later claimed that there'd been a sign. Liars. They purposely opened up mason jars full of cranberry sauce because they were annoyed that they had to take off the newspaper I'd wrapped around the bottles, and I'd put each in two successive zip bags. Juice went inside the luggage. Apparently, it annoys them to do their jobs. They are worthless, arrogant pieces of DUNG who abuse old ladies and kids, and couldn't find their anteriors with both hands in the Sperry gyrocompass factory. They should be immediately disbanded, and sent to work shoveling **** in Louisiana, per General Patton.

As a strong supporter of public employees, I am generally appalled by the behavior of many TSA employees. We travel frequently, so we know the rules. I can't believe the rudeness and poor judgement that we encounter. I see them taking "dangerous" items from passengers, then HURLING the offending material into trash cans. Would you really treat a potential explosive like that? As for the scanners, respected scientists can seem to agree on the complete safety. However, if you ask for a personal screening instead, prepare for a delay and hostility. I know that there are some bright and dedicated employees in this department, and they must be as distressed as the public by the behavior of their colleagues.
