  • Civilian BRAC Should Look At Contractor Compensation
    Radar Tech
The non-profit non-partisan Project On Government Oversight released a study showing that the average private contractor working for the federal government receives 1.83 times the total compensation as the federal worker doing the exact same job. If the government is serious about reducing the deficit, that would be an obvious place to start. A BRAC study should be looking at the cost comparison between having a federal worker at a facility do the job and the actual cost of having a private contractor do the job.
