  • "Federal employees not scapegoats"?
    FERS Fed
We're not? Dang! Sure as heck feels like it. Has any other group of Americans sacrificed anything yet on the altar of debt reduction? Seems to me that when they have been even asked to do so, the weeping and gnashing of teeth is overwhelming.

  • Replacing the sequester
    Bill Samuel
Of course, Rep. Van Hollen wants to replace the sequester with other equal cuts. Lockheed Martin is his largest campaign donor. The current sequester requires the military to take its share of the hit. Proponents of America's aggressive military posture around the world, like Van Hollen, want to protect the military. People with real needs are a lower priority to the militarists, who dominate the two establishment parties.
