  • Get Training Early.
I suggest that employees get retirement training early in their careers. Far too many people wait until late in their career and are not very well prepared. The great thing about it is that it carries into any job and gives employees a great look at how to plan and save for the big jump.

  • Avoid Aet-No.
What ever you do, avoid the Aet-NO, err, I mean Aetna plans. My doctor calls them Aet-NO. Our daughters hospital (an internationally recognized institution) says they screw with them all the time. We dumped them and are going back to a health plan through my wife's employer. Can't speak for the Feds BlueCross, but my wife's BlueCross was amazing. Aet-NO sucks.
