  • How to identify medicare fraud?
    dailycheese
How about SSA checking with the IRS? Check medicare payments against the providers tax filing requirements and you can quickly identify those with a higher probability of medicare/medicaid fraud. For example, a couple years ago, ABC news checked in South Florida. 30% of medicare providers were fraudulent. If the Employer ID number is checked and no corporate tax returns are being filed, chances are you have a fraudulent provider.
