It appears that the horrendous problems uncovered two years ago have finally been dealt with effectively. If I wore a hat, I'd take it off to those civil servants who worked hard to put the new automated process into operation. It's more than sad that it took the public relations fiasco that occurred back in 2010 to bring about the needed essential reforms to deal with known, long-standing problems in cemetary management. Whether these were due to the usual bureaucratic inertia phenomenon or just sheer fecklessness, at least the resulting scorn and indignation of the veteran community in particular finally motivated the necessary changes.
