    Time Bandit
    I was a contractor for the Navy for 10 years, 5 of those years was in DC. When I transferred from PMS394 to PMS450, we were eligible for overtime. However many hours we worked, we got that many hours comp time to use. If we workd OT between M-T, we had to use it that Friday. If we got OT on Friday, we had to use it the next following week. Using it any other time had to be approved by mgmt, in most cases it was approved. Especially if it conflicted with a co workers time off, this way someone was available for the Navy if needed. I had a clearance, I also had a great deal of responsibility and took pride in that the Navy trusted me with the job I had and the documents I was custodian of. Companies today, including the government, SERIOUSLY needs to push for more random drug testing, the only drug test I ever had was when I was hired. I don't know if the gov't does random testing, if not, they should. If someone is given a security clearance, they should also be made to take random drugs tests.
