I also recommend everyone read the transcript of the broadcast. And after reading it, reflect on the fact that the countries which never sent any help to us when we needed it are the so called enlightened, progressive, socialist countries. It's the evil, capitalist America which sends help all over the world. Today we could add the Islamic countries to the mix of those who thumb their noses at us and insult us when we send help to them. Isn't it amazing that the oil rich Muslim countries didn't send any help to Pakistan when they had a massive earthquake a few years ago, but we did. We are the world's chumps, and we bow down to the arrogant, corrupt U.N., and do their bidding.

I just read the transcript you cited. I agree with what the transcript said. However, your bias is coming through loud and clear. It did say that no country is aiding us. It did not use the term progressive or Muslim. Of course, you may be writing that every country in the world is enlightened, progressive, or Muslim.-------- if the Muslim countries did not send aid to pakistan, then you have made a very valid point. I will agree with you that we should not fund various parts of the UN that are anti American.

  • Help to the USA
    Linda
Hi remember that broadcaste and the next disaster that the US had after that, assistance was offered by Canada and Europe. I believe the Canadians also offer assistance during Katrina, but can't be sure of that. The Austrailians have sent fire fighters to the US to help with wild fires. When in 2000 Montana had 200,000 acres go up in smoke, the Austrailians were there assisting. Not to mention the other Hot Shots and Smoke Jumpers and crews from other States. I seem to remember that the Austailians also sent search teams for the last big California Quake............. I think some of the offers of assistance are also turned down as the US doesn't like to accept charity. The offers of search teams and fire fighters have been accepted, but not the money............. TheInternational Redi Cross probably helped out with Katrina as well as the US Red Cross. People from all over the world donate to that. Although, the US is probably the most generous, they are not the only ones. Let us be somewhat fair here.........Maybe those closer to some of these disasters know more. A lot of time the help is only talked about in the local news, not the National news........ But, thanks to the Austrailians for assisting with the fires. Our guys from Montana and Washington are down in Arizona trying to help out there as we a low fire danger due to the huge snow pack and wet spring.
