  • Treasury Number is wrong

    The Treasury number should include IRS employees which would be many, many thousand not included that are not excepted employees

    I agree with Makkph. At the peak of the tax season - which is right now - there are up to 100,000 people employed by the IRS in permanent and temporary positions nationwide. The chart shows fewer than 2,000 Treasury employees at this moment.
