The article assumes that all federal employees are well off, own homes, and are contributing the maximum to TSP. I live in a trailer and live paycheck to paycheck. Any advice for me?

  • Mr Stein is clueless on TSP Loans

I recently got a TSP loan and it took about 7 business days from the time I faxed in my request and the funds were electronically transfered into my account. I don't know where he is getting his info that it takes weeks and weeks to process a loan. Additionally, TSP folks aren't paid w/government funds so they will still be operating and able to process loans if/when there is a shutdown!
