  • NASA Budget
This budget is grossly over weight. There are no reasons to go beyond the moon. Does anyone need to know if there was water on Mars? No. If and when man can travel much faster then now, can we worry about intra- planetary travel. Using Mars as a jumping off point to the rest of the galaxy is pointless until man can travel much faster then we shall attain in the next 200 years, if then. After all, the nearest star system is 4 light years away! There's no reason to attempt travel to the rest of the universe until man can move at least 100,000 miles per second.
