WTOP and Federal News Radio Director of Custom Media Jason Fornicola’s interview series from the FY 15 Budget and Procurement Summit, part of the Potomac Officers Club Distinguished Speaker Series. The event featured opening presentations by Chip Fulghum, Acting Chief Financial Officer at the Department of Homeland Security and Jennifer Walsmith, the Senior Acquisition Executive for the National Security Agency. Both Fulghum and Walsmith addressed the unique challenges facing their agencies and how budget constraints will impact their efforts going forward. The summit also included a panel discussion, “The Business of Cloud: The Color of Money,” that focused on key cloud topics including savings and agility, public and private clouds and cloud as a business model.
