Spammers spread fake WikiLeaks links

InfoSecurity reports the spam is being spread in the \"name of democracy\", according to Kaspersky Lab\'s December 2010 spam report.

Spammers are using the WikiLeaks controversy to promote their product.

Kaspersky Lab’s December 2010 spam report found that spammers were asking email recipients to spread bogus WikiLeaks links in the name of democracy, Infosecurity reports.

The report also found spammers are using the WikiLeaks name to bypass spam filters.

The amount of spam was up slightly in December.
