Iranian hacker group offers botnets-for-hire

The New New Internet reports that an Iranian hacker group is advertising services as botnets-for-hire.

A group of Iranian hackers with alleged ties to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards are advertising itself as botnets-for-hire.

The New New Internet reports that the group, which is credited with hacking Twitter and Chinese search engine Baidu last year, has been offering its services on the cyber black market by renting access to its botnet.

Researchers at Seculert have found an administration interface where those who want to rent the botnet can describe the machines they would like to infect and upload their own malware for distribution by the botnet.
