What is the biggest issue facing federal mangers?

That’s the question the Government Business Council posed to more than 200 federal executives.

Tim McManus is the Vice President of Education and Outreach at the Partnership for Public Service.

He tells DorobekInsider that more than 40 percent of managers cite hiring reform as their biggest challenge. This far surpasses the percentage of respondents who identified other human capital issues – work-life balance, career development, onboarding and managing the multisector workforce – as most important.
