Growing collaboration between US Cyber Command, DHS

The outgoing chief of staff for U.S. Cyber Command said recently the military\'s professional cyber corps has strong, diverse capabilities.

The outgoing chief of staff for U.S. Cyber Command said recently the military’s professional cyber corps has strong, diverse capabilities, according to Defense.gov.

Air Force Maj. Gen. David Senty — who helped stand up Cyber Command — is retiring Sep. 30th. Coming near the eve of his departure, Senty said the cyber force now includes experts in information technology, signals intelligence, communications and military operations. He added that combat-arms forces bring an operational mindset and military judgment to the equation.

Senty said he sees growing collaboration with the Homeland Security Department, other agencies, and with international partners.
