October 4, 2011 — Carolyn Alston, general counsel for the Washington Management Group, joins host Roger Waldron to discuss the state of GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule program.
Alston provides insight into the current regulatory framework for the negotiation, and award of MAS contracts, and subsequent MAS task order competitions.
She also provides her thoughts on the overall state of procurement policy and procedures, and suggests that it may be time to conduct a review of the policy framework to eliminate unnecessary, inefficient processes, and procedures that are bogging down the system.
