What’s going to happen to the military’s efforts to replenish it’s aerial refueling tankers. Northrop Grumman wants the Obama administration to revive the procurement process, which has been stuck for months. Citing concerns that politics had dipped too deeply into the process, Defense Secretary Robert Gates canceled the $35 billion competition between Northrop and Boeing Co. He said at the time he wanted the winner to be chosen on for the “best value” rather than lowest price.
