Anonymous hackers now target Stratfor government subscribers

Hackers who broke into a security consulting firm Stratfor are now targeting the company\'s government subscribers.

Hackers who broke into a security consulting firm are now targeting the company’s government subscribers. Last December, the hacker group Anonymous got hold of credit card numbers and email addresses for clients of Stratfor. Many of the subscribers are federal managers. NextGov reports, now those subscribers are receiving emails with links to malicious web sites. Emails look like they are coming from Stratfor. The scheme was discovered by Microsoft. Ironically, the phishing emails warn recipients about emails containing suspicious links.
