Don't panic about the global economy

This week's Your Turn was jam-packed with information. Senior Correspondent Mike Causey talked with Jessica Klement, legislative director at the Federal Managers Association, about the latest regarding the NSPS transition and rolling your unused annual leave into your TSP once you retire from federal service. He also talked with Certified Financial Planner Rebecca Schreiber, who explains why you shouldn't be panicking about the global economy just yet.

    Um, what we're worried about is preserving our wealth under the shadow of the Federal Reserve. If they print up a lot of money, the speculators like stock holders and homeowners gain, but savers get screwed. If the Federal Reserve doesn't print as much money, then savers win, but homeowners and people with stock in 401Ks get screwed. And, they tell us that the Federal Reserve is helping us, and is keeping inflation down, and is not influenced by politics. Pardon me while I puke. The answer is to get rid of the Federal Reserve.
