DoD reviews social networking usage policy

The Department of Defense is reviewing its security policy when it comes to social networking tools, and the Marine Corps has banned the use of them on secure networks for the time being.

Last week, Deputy Defense Secretary William Lynn ordered a review of both the threats and benefits of using social networking -- and asked it be done by the end of this month.

Tom Conway, Director of Federal Business Development for MacAfee, brings us analysis of why the review is being conducted.
