Feb. 8, 2010 -- Amtower interviews Jim Beaupre, CEO of Fed Results and David Cohen, partner at Cohen Mohr on small business issues.

Among the topics discussed are two events, the 4th annual IAC Small business Conference, and the 20th Annual OSDBU Conference.

Small business issues addressed included how small companies should enter the government market vs how many currently do it.

Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) are also dissucssed.

The guests discuss what companies need to do to enter the market intelligently.

Many companies enter the market with unrealsitic expectation and no working knowledge of company infrastructure required (legal, accounting and more), the research need to understand what the government buys and how it buys, who the competition is, what the best method is for their company to enter (GSA Schedule, sub-contractor, etc).

Resources available for small business include PTACs, SBDCs, OSDBUs, and companies like FedResults, Cohen Mohr, and Amtower & Company.
