Four years ago, Hurricane Katrina walloped the Gulf Coast and devastated parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.

In addition to the loss of lives and extensive property damage, there was widespread political fallout.

The federal government was roundly criticized for its sluggish response to Katrina.

Today we talk with HSToday Editor David Silverberg about lessons learned and where FEMA is today.
