The federal CIO Vivek Kundra has been talking about government as a platform and providing access to public data that people and organizations can then use in all sorts of ways.
But what does that mean, and how one make that data useful?
One organization is trying.
Socrata has created a Web that that aggregates public data in a way of trying to make that information useful.
The Web site just went online today -- and joining us with more is Kevin Merritt, the CEO and founder of Socrata.
