The Air National Guard’s new Readiness Center at Andrews Air Force Base is a great example of how technology can lower energy costs while also lowering the impact on the environment.

The building has been given a Silver LEED Certification, in part because of the roof that is literally green.

Galen Jamison, project manager with CH2M Hill, joined the DorobekINSIDER to discuss the construction of the center.

Construction work is shown July 22, 2022, in the 1600 block of the cantonment area at Fort McCoy, Wis., on a second new transient training troops barracks project on the post.
