More taxes, more jobs?

The President's 2011 budget request increases K-12 education funding by as much as $4 billion dollars, pending congressional action. But with record deficits and high unemployment it may be more difficult for the President to fund his priorities like education programs. Higher taxes on business and upper-income families and new fees for banks could raise as much as $2 trillion dollars over ten years. What impact will the new taxes have on job creation?
