Baldrige Award aims to prove quality matters

Every agency and business strives to better their performance, and late this month a handful of them will receive the nation's highest recognition for innovation and performance excellence. It's the 2009 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, run by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. This year, 70 groups have applied, including some government agencies. Joining us with details is Dr. Harry Hertz, director of the Baldrige National Quality Program.
