Mr. Peter Brandano currently serves as the chief architect for the Information Technology Integration sector within General Dynamics Information Technology (IT). In this role, Mr. Brandano is responsible for leading the strategic technical direction of the sector’s technology, solutions and services. His current areas of focus include energy savings performance contracting, enterprise IT services, cloud computing solutions and services, and cyber security.

From 2009 through 2012, Mr. Brandano served as a technical director and the technical lead for the USMC Enterprise IT Services (MCEITS) data center execution, certification and accreditation of the data center’s classified and unclassified enclaves. In this role, he successfully managed the design, implementation and demonstration of several task orders on the USMC Marine Corps Enterprise IT Services (MCEITS) program.

Mr. Brandano began his career at General Dynamics C4 Systems Interactive in early 2001 as a software engineer within the user interface, middleware, and database teams, and was responsible for leading the engineering team in all aspects of product research, development and ongoing maintenance. In 2005, General Dynamics C4 Systems Interactive was acquired by KoolConnect Technologies where Mr. Brandano served as senior vice president of technology. He played a leading role in all aspects of General Dynamics C4 Systems Interactive and KoolConnect engineering over the years as both an individual contributor and manager of the software and systems development, and global system deployments. Prior to General Dynamics and KoolConnect, Mr. Brandano worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and InUnity Corporation (now NewRiver) in information assurance and software development roles.

Mr. Brandano holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Boston College and is pursuing master’s degrees in business administration from Babson College and computer science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He has been a contributing author of numerous Deitel and Associates computer science textbooks and has an international patent pending for his work on KoolConnect’s Intrigue Interactive Entertainment System.
