His career within the Florida Health Department and County Public Health Unit system, Equicor, CIGNA Healthcare and Teradata Health & Life Sciences has touched many health disciplines including, but not limited to, disease management, care utilization, physician engagement and performance, health fraud detection, and quality & outcomes analysis. In addition to being frequent public speaker, he has also served on two separate HHS-ONC Executive Committees focused on analytics and fraud detection. At each stage of his career, Richard has been engaged in efforts to improve the method of information sharing & collaboration across the healthcare payer & provider sectors. Upon joining SAS, Richard has served both US & global positions to build the commercial health & life science business unit by providing clear alignment of SAS analytic techniques with real-world healthcare issues & challenges.
