President Barack Obama will take to the airwaves tonight to outline his plan for withdrawing U.S. troops from Afghanistan. Outgoing Defense Secretary Robert Gates met with the President yesterday in a closed door meeting at the White House. John Bennett is a defense reporter for The Hill.
