Lessons learned from national crowdsourcing effort

Expert Labs recently partnered with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and has lessons to share.

A national effort to elicit science and technology ideas has taught a nonprofit White House partner some lessons in crowdsourcing — namely streamline the message. Government Technology reports that Expert Labs (which partnered with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy on a crowdsourcing experiment) recently posted a blog outlining improvements for the process. The finding could prove useful to other government agencies that are thinking about crowdsourcing questions to the general population.
