Dorobek joined Federal News Radio in 2008 with 16 years of experience covering government issues with an emphasis on government information technology. Prior to joining Federal News Radio, Dorobek was editor-in-chief of Federal Computer Week, the leading news magazine for government IT decision-makers and the flagship of the 1105 Government Information Group portfolio of publications. As editor-in-chief, Dorobek served as a member of the senior leadership team at 1105 Government Information Group, providing daily editorial direction and management for FCW magazine, FCW.com, Government Health IT and its other editorial products.
Dorobek joined FCW in 2001 as a senior reporter and assumed increasing responsibilities, becoming managing editor and executive editor before being named editor-in-chief in 2006. Prior to joining FCW, Dorobek was a technology reporter at PlanetGov.com, one of the first online community centers for current and former government employees. He also spent five years at Government Computer News, another leading industry publication, covering a variety of federal IT-related issues.
Dorobek is a frequent speaker on issues involving the government IT industry, and has appeared as a frequent contributor to NewsChannel 8's Federal News Today program. He began his career as a reporter at the Foster's Daily Democrat, a daily newspaper in Dover, N.H. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California. He lives in Washington, DC.
Thorne Graham
Senior IT Security Officer, Nuclear Regulatory Commission
Mr. Thorne A. Graham is one of three Senior Level Staff Leads in the Office of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He is in charge of the Cyber Situational Awareness domain of the NRC Security Program. In this role, Mr. Graham's organization serves as the focal point for agency computer incident response and ensures that the NRC establishes and maintains effective, continuous security management and security visibility into the status of the networking and computing infrastructure of the NRC. Mr. Graham has over 34 years of combined military and civilian service in the federal government.
Prior to joining the NRC, Mr. Graham worked in the Department of Homeland Security as the DHS Infrastructure CISO and supported the security of the Level 1 enterprise network, data center and enterprise application for the Department's Level 1 Information Technology (IT) programs.
Mr. Graham began his government career in the U.S. Navy as a Crypto logic Technician supporting the Commander, Naval Security Group and the Chief of Naval Operations at the Pentagon and in various stations located in Europe and Asia. Mr. Graham retired from the active reserves as a Chief Warrant Officer. In 1984, he joined the Defense Information Systems Agency, serving as a computer scientist on DOD small information system security. Mr. Graham as also served as a federal government IT and security professional at the Internal Revenue Service, the US Department of Agriculture and the Federal Aviation Administration.
Mr. Graham is a native New Yorker and grew up in New York City where he graduated from Mt. Saint Michael's High School. In 1986 he received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Park University and is a Masters in Business Administration - Information Systems candidate from Golden Gate University. Mr. Graham has been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional since 2000 and has been a member of the Project Management Institute and the NIST-sponsored Federal Computer Security Manager's Forum.
Mr. Graham resides in Montgomery County, Maryland with his wife Pamela. They have two children and seven grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, music, basketball and bowling.

Patrick Peterson
Chief Security Researcher and Cisco Fellow
Mr. Peterson began at IronPort performing market research and product definition for the email infrastructure products that have become IronPort's Email Security Appliances and was instrumental in the creation of SenderBase, the industry's first and largest email traffic monitoring service.
Prior to joining IronPort Systems, Mr. Peterson held engineering and marketing management positions at Savi Technology, including managing the Engineering and Manufacturing departments as Vice President, Engineering Operations. He played a critical role during the sale of the company to Texas Instruments and also in winning a $111 million competitively bid logistics contract.
Mr. Peterson has been active in spam, other messaging abuse issues and combating online crime since he joined IronPort Systems as employee #6 in January, 2001. In the last six years he has been on the cutting edge in understanding criminal techniques and developing the technologies to combat them. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University and holds patents related to antennas, radio frequency communications and email authentication techniques.
Holly Ridgeway
Chief Information Security Information, Office of Justice Programs, Department of Justice
Mrs. Ridgeway presently serves as the Division Director of Information Technology (IT) Security for the Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs. Mrs. Ridgeway provides OJP with visionary leadership to combat the Advanced Persistent Security Threat to government networks, while balancing mandated compliance requirements and mission needs. As IT Security Director, she founded the OJP Vulnerability Management Program, which included establishing workflows, managing corrective action plans and developing IT control metrics that have greatly improved the overall OJP enterprise security posture. Her work at OJP was praised by Financial Statement Auditors as a Best Practice for DOJ.
Mrs. Ridgeway joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in February 2004 as an Information Assurance Program Analyst. She has served as the Watch Commander of the FBI Enterprise Security Operations Center, FBI's Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) Project Manager, Security Awareness Training Manager, and Security Division Audit Manager. Prior to joining the FBI, Mrs. Ridgeway served as the IT Specialist to the Chief Information Officer and Director of Information Resources Management of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Mrs. Ridgeway concurrently serves as an Adjunct Professor in the fields of Information Systems Management and Information Assurance at both the University of Maryland University College and George Washington University. She holds an MS in Computer Systems Management, as well as a graduate certificate in Information Assurance and holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
