Jim Flyzik is the President of TheFlyzikGroup www.theflyzikgroup.com . The company specializes in Strategic Business Consulting, Performance Based Contracting Consulting and Training and Thought Leadership media events. The company assists small, medium and large companies in providing world-class government services. Jim also serves as the Chairman of the Information Technology Association of America Committee on Homeland Security. Jim served over 27 years in the federal government. He served as Senior Advisor to Governor Ridge in the White House Office of Homeland Security (OHS). He provided advice to OHS on the National Strategy and Information Management in support of the OHS mission. From February 1998 until December 2002, Jim also served as the Vice Chair of the Federal Government CIO Council overseeing numerous governmentwide IT initiatives. He was also a member of the President's Critical Infrastructure Protection Board.

Prior to this, from August 1997 until April 2002, Jim was the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Systems and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Department of the Treasury. He provided oversight, strategic planning and management direction on over $3.0 billion in annual information technology and information infrastructure programs within Treasury and its fourteen Bureaus. Jim also served as the Acting Assistant Secretary for Management for the Treasury Department from January 20, 2001 until February 8, 2002. In that role he provided oversight of all Treasury bureaus and served as the principal policy advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary on matters involving the internal management of the Department and its bureaus. Jim received the Secretary Certificate of Appreciation on February 12, 2002 for his efforts during this transition period.

Prior to his Treasury positions, Jim worked for 15 years at the U.S. Secret Service where he held key IT management positions, including the Chief of the Communications Division, providing world class telecommunications in support of Secret Service tactical and operational requirements.

Jim served as Team Leader on Vice President Gore's National Performance Review (NPR) Information Technology Team. Following this assignment, he was selected as Chairman of the Government Information Technology Services Working Group, to implement the NPR Information Technology recommendations and coordinate the government services portion of the National Information Infrastructure (NII). He was given the prestigious Eagle Award as the government information technology executive of the year in 1994, a Meritorious Presidential Rank Award in 1995, the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association Award for Excellence in Information Technology in 1996, the AFFIRM Award for Outstanding Service to the Citizens in 1997, the Industry Advisory Council Award for Special Achievements and Leadership in 1997, the AFFIRM IRM Executive of the Year Award in 1998, and the Distinguished Rank Executive Award from President Clinton in 1999. In 2001 the Federation of Government Information Processing Councils presented him the John J. Franke award for outstanding government service. In March 2002, Jim was selected by the Federal CIO Council to receive the Azimuth Award as the Government Executive of the Year.

Jim has extensive public speaking experience and frequently serves as a featured speaker at industry events. He has developed, and currently teaches part-time, a graduate level course on Information Systems Security and Risk Assessment at the University of Maryland. Jim was given the Stanley J. Drazek Excellence in Teaching Award in 1998 by the University of Maryland.

Jim has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Computer Science and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland with an area of concentration in Information Systems Management.




Dale Meyerrose
CIO
Office of the Director of National Intelligence

President George W. Bush appointed Dale W. Meyerrose the first Associate Director of National Intelligence and Chief Information Officer on December 21, 2005, with the advice and consent of the United States Senate.

Mr. Meyerrose serves as the Chief Information Officer for the United States Intelligence Community. Mr. Meyerrose manages activities relating to the information technology infrastructure and enterprise requirements of the Intelligence Community. He has procurement approval authority over all information technology items related to the enterprise architectures of all Intelligence Community components. Mr. Meyerrose directs and manages all information technology-related procurement for the Intelligence Community and ensures that all expenditures for information technology and research and development activities are consistent with the Intelligence Community enterprise architecture. Mr. Meyerrose came to this position after over thirty years of military service, culminating with his retirement from the United States Air Force as a Major General in November 2005.

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he entered the United States Air Force in 1975 after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. His career highlights include service as a director and Chief Information Officer in three Air Force major air commands and three unified combatant commands, a deployed Joint Task Force Director of Communications in Southwest Asia, and a commander of two major Air Force communications units. Mr. Meyerrose, a master parachutist, earned the Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, two Legions of Merit, two Defense Meritorious Service Medals, and six Meritorious Service Medals. Mr. Meyerrose received a Master of Business Administration degree, from the University of Utah in 1978. He graduated from the National War College, Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington D.C. in 1992. He attended the Senior Information Warfare Applications and Joint Flag Officer Warfighting Courses, Maxwell AFB, Alabama. He also attended the Program for National and International Security, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the U.S. Navy Executive Business Course, Haas School of Business, University of California - Berkeley, at the Naval Post Graduate School, Monterey, California.




Vance Hitch
CIO
Department of Justice

Vance Hitch has served as the Chief Information Officer of the Department of Justice since April 2002. He is responsible for leading and implementing the effective and efficient acquisition and management of information technology across the Department. He manages the Department's $2.1 billion information technology program, overseeing management, acquisition, and integration of the Department's information resources. His oversight includes strategic planning, policy, capital planning, systems development, telecommunications, information security data management, enterprise architecture, e-government, and user computing.

Prior to coming to the Department of Justice, Hitch was a Senior Partner with Accenture. He has 28 years of experience in leading government organizations successfully through major change initiatives. His recent projects at Accenture included the development of the IT Strategic Plan for the State of Maryland and a comprehensive re-engineering and automation of the City of Philadelphia's Records Department. Other government organizations that Hitch has worked with include the Department of State, the National Security Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice, and multiple state and local governments.

Hitch earned a Masters of Systems Management from George Washington University in 1973 and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Muhlenberg College in 1967. He served in the United States Navy from 1969 -1973, attaining the rank of lieutenant.




Michael Krieger

Mike Krieger is a Senior Executive with broad experience in Information Technology and Command and Control Systems. He served in the US Army for twenty-five years with operational assignments in communications, and command and control.

He assumed his current position as the Principal Director, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Information Management and Technology) in February 2008. He was previously the Director of Information Policy and Integration in the Office of the DoD Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for integrating DoD policies, guidance, and direction to create an information advantage for DoD personnel and mission partners.

Mr. Krieger is a confirmed net-centric information sharing zealot. He believes that all information assets must be visible, available, usable, and trusted when needed and where needed to accelerate decision-making, and he passionately shares his vision with nonbelievers.

Mr. Krieger holds a BA from the United States Military Academy, an MS in Physics from Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MS in National Security Strategy from the National Defense University.




Robert Riegle

Robert Riegle presently serves as the Director of the State and Local Government Program Office within the Office of Intelligence & Analysis in The U.S. Department of Homeland Security. As a Senior Intelligence Officer in DHS Mr. Riegle spearheaded the development of relationships concerning many State and Local Government Fusion Centers and was a co-lead for the DHS-wide effort to formalize policy concerning Fusion Center Relationships. Mr. Riegle is the DHS representative to the Department of Justice's Global Justice Initiative, the Co-chair of the National Fusion Center Coordination Group and an advisory member of the Criminal Intelligence Coordinating Council. Prior to working at DHS Mr. Riegle worked at Booz Allen Hamilton in the Strategic Communications Area; the Defense Intelligence Agency as a National Intelligence Support Team (NIST) Intelligence Specialist, serving in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Noble Eagle; Chevy Chase Bank as a Corporate Vice-President; and Indeck Power Overseas Ltd. as the Regional Manager - Pacific Rim. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Government from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America - Columbus School of Law. Mr. Riegle entered the Senior Executive Service in 2007 after nearly fifteen years of Government employment. Mr. Riegle has been married for eighteen years to the former Anna Rehmann and has a fifteen year old son. Mr. Riegle has numerous military awards and decorations including two Combat Action Ribbons, The Joint Unit Commendation Medal, The Joint Unit Achievement Medal, and four Navy Achievement Medals. He is a member of the Navy Special Warfare Association, the American Bar Association, and an avid skier and golfer.



Michael DeHart
Stealth Program Manager
Federal Systems and Technology

Mr. DeHart is the Program Manager for the Unisys Stealth Solution in the Federal Systems Group. He oversees the business development, sales strategy, and product development of Unisys' newest security and info-sharing product - Stealth. He joined Unisys in 2004 upon his retirement from the USAF as a Colonel after 29 years of service

His USAF experience encompasses communications and information technology, special operations, command and control, strategic planning, program management, and tactical communications. He was the SC & CIO for the AF Special Operations Command, and the J6 & CIO for US Forces Korea, with other assignments spanning the Joint Staff, Headquarters USAF, Joint and Air Force major command headquarters, and Air Force units worldwide.

Mr. DeHart graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1975, and received a Master's degree in International Relations from Troy State University, and a Master's degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College in Washington DC.




Tom Simmons
Area Vice President for Federal Systems

Tom Simmons is the Area Vice President for Citrix Federal Systems. Tom brings Citrix over 25 years of information technology sales and management experience, with a core emphasis on the Public Sector market. Tom acts as both spokesperson and advocate for public/private partnerships around technology initiatives such as Disaster Recovery, Telework, HSPD-12, SOA, Thin Client, and IT Consolidation. His understanding of the unique requirements of both government customers and the systems integrators who support them has helped drive Citrix's year-over-year growth in this market. Prior to Citrix, Tom has served in senior management positions with companies like Trend Micro, MicroWarehouse and Compaq driving their Federal sales efforts.



Steve Hutchens
Client Industry Executive for Homeland Security in the Global Government Industry

Steve Hutchens is EDS Client Industry Executive for Homeland Security in the Global Government Industry. Hutchens supports business development for the U.S. federal, state and local government and takes relevant corporate experience to clients worldwide.

Hutchens has more than 30 years' experience in information systems, communications, technology and security. Hutchens has worked with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and various state and local government clients during his time with EDS. Recently, he was very involved in the development of homeland security solutions that are part of the public safety strategy for an EDS client in California.

He joined EDS in 2002 as director of security solutions within federal, state and local government business. He was responsible for coordinating with sales executives and delivery managers to meet clients' information assurance needs, as well as providing direct consulting services to EDS' state and local clients.

Previously, Hutchens worked for Unisys Corp., serving as practice director-information security solutions and security lead for the Transportation Security Administration contract. He launched the creation of the Unisys healthcare security and privacy services to meet requirements for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). At Litton TASC, Hutchens served as section manager/industry lead for information operations.

Hutchens served as director of information systems for the Loudoun Hospital Center and Danville Regional Medical Center, both in Virginia. He started his career as a programmer for the City of Danville (Va.) and senior programmer for Goodyear Tire and Rubber before becoming a systems analyst for International Telephone and Telegraph's Electro-Optical Products Division.

He has experience in the identification and analysis of security requirements, security architectures, risk analyses, and security testing to facilitate system security accreditation. He has developed Protection Profiles for Trusted Security Products using the Common Criteria as proposed by the National Institutes of Science and Technology.

Hutchens is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and an adjunct faculty for the University of Virginia. Mr. Hutchens has extensive experience as adjunct faculty for numerous universities and colleges teaching information systems, security, and business courses. As a member of the National Speakers Association, Hutchens has delivered presentations for Siemens, Hewlett-Packard, American Medical Informatics Association and Society for Competitive Intelligence Professionals, among others. He is a presenter at national conferences on healthcare information systems, emerging healthcare technology and information security.

Hutchens holds a master of business administration and bachelor of science degree in business administration from Averett College.
