Jim served over 27 years in the federal government. He served as Senior Advisor to Governor Ridge in the White House Office of Homeland Security (OHS). He provided advice to OHS on the National Strategy and Information Management in support of the OHS mission. From February 1998 until December 2002, Jim also served as the Vice Chair of the Federal Government CIO Council overseeing numerous governmentwide IT initiatives. He was also a member of the President's Critical Infrastructure Protection Board.
Prior to this, from August 1997 until April 2002, Jim was the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Systems and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Department of the Treasury. He provided oversight, strategic planning and management direction on over $3.0 billion in annual information technology and information infrastructure programs within Treasury and its fourteen Bureaus. Jim also served as the Acting Assistant Secretary for Management for the Treasury Department from January 20, 2001 until February 8, 2002. In that role he provided oversight of all Treasury bureaus and served as the principal policy advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary on matters involving the internal management of the Department and its bureaus. Jim received the Secretary Certificate of Appreciation on February 12, 2002 for his efforts during this transition period.
Prior to his Treasury positions, Jim worked for 15 years at the U.S. Secret Service where he held key IT management positions, including the Chief of the Communications Division, providing world class telecommunications in support of Secret Service tactical and operational requirements.

Jim has extensive public speaking experience and frequently serves as a featured speaker at industry events. He has developed, and currently teaches part-time, a graduate level course on Information Systems Security and Risk Assessment at the University of Maryland. Jim was given the Stanley J. Drazek Excellence in Teaching Award in 1998 by the University of Maryland.
Jim has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Computer Science and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland with an area of concentration in Information Systems Management.

As CIO, Ms. Coleman is responsible for aligning technology with GSA strategic business objectives. Her primary focus is leading and implementing the effective and efficient acquisition and management of information technology solutions across GSA. Ms. Coleman manages the Agency's $500 million IT program, overseeing management, acquisition and integration of the GSA information resources. Her oversight includes strategic planning, policy, capital planning, systems development, information security, enterprise architecture, and e-government.
Previously, Ms. Coleman was appointed the Chief Information Officer for the U.S. General Services Administration's Federal Acquisition Service in October of 2006. Ms. Coleman was responsible for the delivery of information technology, management services and business applications to support the FAS, the new Service formed by the combination of the GSA Federal Technology Service and Federal Supply Service.
Prior to her designation as FAS CIO, Ms. Coleman served two years as the GSA Federal Technology Service CIO. She also headed the GSA Office of Citizen Services from June 2002 through July 2004, where she developed and successfully launched the USA Services government-wide citizen customer service program.
Ms. Coleman began her career at Lockheed Martin, where she spent several years in software and system engineering roles, developing onboard command and control systems for military systems employed during the Gulf War. She also served for a year as a Congressional Legislative Fellow in 1994.
With more than 20 years of experience in the high tech sector and a background in innovative technologies, Ms. Coleman is known for her ability to implement organizational change, and using technology to achieve business and mission goals.
Ms. Coleman is a native Texan and graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a degree in computer science. She later earned a master's degree in business administration and finance from the University of Texas at Arlington.

For the past three years, Mr. Carey served as the DON Deputy Chief Information Officer (Policy and Integration). Reporting directly to the DON CIO, he served as the principal advisor to the CIO and was responsible for managing and leading the DON CIO staff, developing strategies for achieving IM and IT enterprise integration across the Department of the Navy.
Mr. Carey joined the staff of the DON CIO in February 2000, during which time he served as the DON CIO eBusiness Team Leader through June 2003. During this period he also served as the Director of the Department of the Navy Smart Card Office from February through September 2001.
Prior to his time with the DON CIO, Mr. Carey served in a variety of engineering and program management leadership positions within the Acquisition Community in the Undersea Warfare domain including Director of the Surface Ship Sonar Dome Program Office, Chief Engineer, and Deputy Program Manager of the Undersea Weapons Program Office. Mr. Carey began his career in Government service with the Department of the Army in October 1982 at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, where he worked as a Test Director managing developmental and operational testing of small arms and automatic weapons.
Mr. Carey attended the University of South Carolina where, in 1982, he received a BS degree in Engineering. He earned a Master of Engineering Management degree from the George Washington University in 1995. He is a member of the Acquisition Professional Community and has been awarded the Department of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award, the Department of the Navy Superior Civilian Service Award, as well as numerous other Performance Awards.
He is an active member of the United States Navy Reserve and holds the rank of Commander, Civil Engineer Corps.

Mr. Edwards comes to AMC from his position as the Director, Army Enterprise Architecture, Headquarters, Department of the Army, Chief Information Office/G6, where he previously served as the Acting Director, Army Architecture Integration Cell (AAIC).
He has earned two Masters degrees; one in Computer Science from Farleigh Dickenson University and the other in National Resource Management at the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. His Bachelor of Science degree is in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama.
Mr. Edwards' innovative approach to resolve interoperability challenges coupled with his subject matter expertise in the areas of battlefield digitization and Army architecture has made him the Army's leading authority on the Army Enterprise Architecture integration and operations.
He is a highly respected leader, decision maker, and engineer as demonstrated by the award of two Superior Civilian Service medals and one Meritorious Civilian Service medal, received in recognition of his excellent performance.
Highlights of Mr. Edwards' civilian service in the Army include his role as the Acting Director and previously, Deputy Director of the AAIC. He served as Chief, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Division for the Objective Force Task Force. Here he established the strategy and processes for shaping and synchronizing architecture operations and architecture developmental activities in support of Warfighter transformation and the Army Future Force requirements. Paving the way to a transformed Army, Mr. Edwards lead as the Technical Director for the Central Technical Support Facility (CTSF) in support of the Army's Force XXI Project is where he established capability testing processes to support experimentation and fielding of Army Battle Command Systems for the Army's first digitized combat division. This facility stills serves as the Army's premier integration testing facility.
Mr. Edwards' military service includes 3 years with the U.S. Navy, 1978-1981.

Before joining Unisys, Andrew served as vice president, Engineering, at FiveRuns, a professional open source software company whose products are completely developed with open source and serve the open source software market. He was responsible for architecture, design and implementation of JMX Java and J2EE-based client side adapters for Tomcat, JBoss, MySQL and Apache on Linux and Windows platforms.
Previously, Andrew was director of Product Development at Butterfly.net, a leading provider of highly scalable grid computing architectures for the online video game market. He drove the definition and execution of strategic and tactical product plans for Butterfly's online game managed service, e-commerce website and game development IDE. Andrew has 25 years of enterprise software experience and acumen for identifying technology trends and delivering cutting edge products. He is a member of the American Council of Technology/Industry Advisory Council (ACT/IAC) ET-SIG open source subcommittee and a member of the Open Technology Development working group. Andrew holds a bachelor of science degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
