A new generation of cyber warriors is getting some special training in Annapolis. Three dozen midshipmen are now majoring in cyber operations, and every second class midshipman will be required to take cyber classes, according to new Naval Academy guidelines. Andrew Phillips, the academic dean and provost of the United States Naval Academy, joins In Depth to discuss the new cyber curriculum.

Defense contractors have new responsibilities for the supply chain. Changes to the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement will require contractors to secure their supply chains, and if they don’t do it, they could lose their deals altogether. Federal agencies fall short of the governmentwide small business contracting goal for the seventh year in a row.
