E-gov funds on the budget chopping block?

Former E-gov administrator Karen Evans is here to tell you what might stay, what might go, and who it would affect if this cut gets passed.

Both sides of the aisle are looking for budget cuts. One place they’re looking is the e-government fund. Last year the General Services Administration asked for $34 million for the E-gov fund for fiscal 2011. It’s trying to hold on to that amount in whatever budget deal Congress makes for the rest of this fiscal year, but budget cutters in Congress want to chop that number down to $2 million from now until September 30.
