  • A new survey from the Office of Personnel Management shows an increase of more than 11,000 teleworking feds from 2008 to 2009. That brings the total to 10 percent of the federal workforce. Congressman John Sarbanes is a telework advocate and sponsored a law to promote teleworking. • Financial auditability in the Defense Department. The Pentagon has missed deadlines for getting there before. But DoD leaders say they think they’ll meet the most recent deadline: 2017. Federal News Radio’s Jared Serbu will have the full report.
